MCAC Football Athletes of the Week: Week of August 26-September 1

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its football athlete of the week awards for the week of August 26 - September 1.  

 Minnesota West Community and Technical College running back Erick Tucker earned the other Offensive Player of the Week honor. Tucker ran the ball nine times, gaining 80 yards and scoring two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 16 yards as the Blue Jays picked up their first win since 2022, defeating Minnesota State Community and Technical College.  

Bryce Nutall, linebacker for Minnesota West Community and Technical College, earned the other Defensive Player-of-the-Week award with his eight tackles, two of which resulted in a loss of yardage. Nutall also had a sack, broke up a pass, and blocked a punt in the Blue Jays wins.
