Zack Rygg, guard for Minnesota West Community and Technical College, earned the MCAC South Division Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week award after scoring 42 points on 50.0% (14-28) shooting from the field. Rygg had 16 rebounds, two assists, and six steals in 51 minutes of action. His double-double on Saturday helped the Blue Jays to their second opening weekend win.
