The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its winter sports athletes of the week awards for the week of February 10-16.
Sam Rock, a 174-pound freshman wrestler for Minnesota West Community and Technical College, capped off a tremendous regular season by defeating his St. John's University opponent 9-2 last Wednesday in a dual matchup. Each time he hits the mat, Rock continues to knock off his opponents from the NJCAA, NCAA DII and DIII, and NAIA levels, and he earned this week's MCAC Wrestler of the Week award.

Minnesota West Community and Technical College Wrestling will host the NJCAA Region 13/North Plains District Tournament on Sunday, February 23, in Worthington, MN.
